The Conference is intended to be a moment of intense integration and scientific exchanges between participating researchers. This event is also expected to enable dissemination of research, actions and debates to a broader, academic and non- academic audience, about the issue of management and restoration of inland water bodies, with emphasis on practices and experiences. In addition, the event aims to amplify the theme of river restoration among managers, students and professionals, discussing opportunities, experiences and most appropriate tools to address and tackle the problem. Topics may involve predictive models, classification methodologies, restoration planning and measures, real-case restoration examples, monitoring, instream flows, among others.
